About my work
I hand-coat paper with light-sensitive solutions, wait while Houston's humidity negotiates with the paper, expose the sheet to ultraviolet light, and watch the image surface as it develops. That moment when a picture comes out of a blank page is a bit of magic. No two prints are alike. There's beauty in the imperfect and the impermanent.
