Six black-and-white studies made close enough that the flower stops reading as a flower and becomes light moving across petals, folds, the architecture of stamens.
The prints are archival pigment on 42 gsm kozo, thin enough that each image carries faintly through to the back of its own sheet. Turning a page, you see the one before it as a ghost. The cover is handmade paper flecked with fiber and stem, lined inside in saffron, with a soft hinge at the spine so the book opens flat instead of fighting you. Sewn by hand, four-hole stab binding, red waxed linen.
Note: Each copy is sewn by hand from handmade papers, so no two are identical. The prints and the binding are consistent across the edition; the cover sheets vary, so the pattern on your copy will differ from the one photographed.
Trim size: 6” x 9” - Edition of 5 - Signed and numbered - Printed and bound by hand in Houston.
Flat fee shipping of $10 plus $5 per additional item to U.S. locations.
